Spring Tree Planting

We met in Kauffman Park on Arbor Day to plant trees with the City's Arborist Chris Perry, who educated the public through "tree talks".  It was all part of Keep Lakewood Beautiful's annual citywide Great American Cleanup day.

Thanks to many generous volunteers, the tree-planting was a success! Special thanks to Keep Lakewood Beautiful for hosting the event and donating the trees and special thanks to Chris Perry and all the arborists who made sure they were planted well. With ten new trees planted last fall and seven more today, the park is looking much greener!
