Phase 2 Improvements - Summer 2021 |

We've come a long way, and there are great things on the horizon at Kauffman Park! So what's in store for this Summer, you ask?
The City of Lakewood's Planning and Development Department will begin Phase 2 construction related to the next round of improvements to Kauffman Park early Summer 2021!
This phase will include:
* Replacement and relocation of the playground equipment,
* Addition of nature play elements
* Addition of a water play feature (hand pumps and channels)
* Addition of a new picnic shelter
* Repurposing the grass blade decorative bike racks
* Addition of a new 6ft asphalt path around the play area with pedestrian scale lighting
* Replacing the asphalt path into the park from the parking lot with an ADA compliant concrete pathway
