Lakewood Celebrity Softball Game & Festival

Kauffman Park Friends will hold its first "Lakewood Celebrity Softball Game & Festival" at Kauffman Park’s Jimmie Foxx Memorial Baseball Field, Sunday, August 30, 2-6 pm. Please plan on coming, but even better, please volunteer to help:

Food - 2 - Taking money, and distributing.
KPF table - 2 - (rotating) Promoting the organization, passing out programs
Team liaisons - 2 - Passing out water, helping with any needs
Referees - 2 - First and third base
Floaters - 2 - General help
We are asking volunteers to meet at the KPF table at 1:30 pm. We plan to set it up at the Arthur Ext. entrance to the park. But please contact Missy first.

Cheer on your favorite Lakewood businesses as they face off at Kauffman Park’s Jimmie Foxx Memorial Baseball Field. This free event will also include food, children activities, and a promise wall provided by “Because I Said I Would.” The festival will end with the Sokol Aerial Circus. Come see daring drops, dizzying spins, and audacious grace high, high, high up in the air with performances on silks, lyra, stilts, and hoop in singles, doubles, and triples. This family-friendly show is filled with comedy, beauty, and many moments that will take your breath away! All proceeds from the event benefit continued improvements to Kauffman Park.
