Join us for a fun, free, bike-Friendly festival (24” and under) and see why Kauffman Park is a perfect place for young kids to ride! Enjoy DJ music, kid & tot riding courses, bike decorating, tats, snacks, community resources for families with young cyclists, and more! Hosted by Kauffman Park Friends, in partnership with Bike Lakewood, and with generous support from the Healthy Lakewood Foundation. Connect and explore with the Bike Lakewood, Beat Cycles, Lakewood Recreation, Lakewood Police, and more! TATTOO YOU! Get tatted up with temporary tattoos of your choice! BIKE DECORATING Dec your ride with spoke beads, playing cards, colored masking tape, crepe paper, and more! DJ MUSIC Kid-friendly tunes fill the park while you ride! SKILZ CHALLENGE LOOP Put your cycling skills to the test along the main fitness loop! ENERGY BOOST! FREE snacks and reusable water bottles (while supplies last) to fuel you while you ride! TOT LOT AND RIDE-ON COURSE Smaller riders can borrow a ride and take a spin on Kauffman Park's small shaded trail that surrounds the playground! WATER PLAY Pump, fill, pour, and splash in Kauffman Park's new mini river basin! NATURE PLAY Play on Kauffman Park's new nature-based playground! CHALK THE WALK Create beautiful sidewalk art with chalk! |
